In February 6th 2023, LEBR was officially registered as a research institution at the National Agency of Public Registry of Georgia.

LEBR website launched

In May 1 2023 the official website of LEBR has been launched.

LEBR has won the first research grant!

We are delighted to announce that on 4th of December 2023 the LEBR as a host institution was awarded a research grant FR-23-10587 by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. The LEBR research project was rated amongst top score project proposals. You can read more in the press release and view a full list of all selected projects.

Article submission

On March 31th 2025 the LEBR researchers Prof. Michalis Drouvelis has submitted the article at high ranking academic journal the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization (JEBO), under research grant FR-23-10587, “Formation of Prosocial and Altruistic Norms in Economics”.

Online Workshop

On November 28th 2025 the LEBR researcher Dr. Rati Mekvabishvili conducted online workshop on recent experimental study under research grant FR-23-10587, “Formation of Prosocial and Altruistic Norms in Economics”. The academic staff of various universities participated in the online workshop.
